Seng Lee Tobacco, a 72-year old establishment, selected Aralco Retail Management and Point of Sale Systems for their truck sales distribution to supermarkets and convenience stores across Singapore – deploying Microsoft Windows 8 POS tablets and Zebra Qln 320 Bluetooth printers for mobility and real-time visibility on inventory status, customers’ pre-orders, sale transactions and payments at the headquarters.

About Seng Lee Tobacco Factory

Seng Lee Tobacco Factory Pte Ltd is a manufacturer and wholesaler of tobacco products and accessories.

This hand-rolled tobacco business was originally started by the company in 1942 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and goods were land transported to Singapore for distribution.

In 1945 after World War II the operations were moved to Singapore and subsequently restructured as a Private Limited Company in 1965.

Besides hand-rolled tobacco, its distribution includes cigars, beedies and accessories. The company has investments in real estate and a food and beverage establishments.

Today, Seng Lee Tobacco Factory Pte Ltd is one of the top 10% enterprises in Singapore, soon-to-be published in the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Top Enterprises 2014 Edition Directory. The SBF is a government agency formed via the SBF Act passed by Parliament.
