Fingerprint Scanner Bypassed

Q. When logging into the POS sales screen I get the message “Fingerprint Scanner Bypassed” at the top of the login window. What does that mean?

The Aralco POS system supports the use of a fingerprint scanner as a method of authentication for users when logging into POS, and for staff sign in.

This message simply tells you that the fingerprint feature has been disabled at this particular register. If you are using fingerprint verification, you will need to:

  1. From the Point of Sale main screen, select Setup » Software Options » Settings;
  2. Navigate to [+] Login Options and make sure the settings are correct for this register.
