Q. When a customer is paying using a Points Plan it appears they are getting points for that too. Is there an option to change this?
Yes there is.
Within the main Point of Sale screen:
- Navigate to Setup » Software Options » Settings and enter your login credentials;
- Scroll down to Point of Sale Transactions » Points Issued;
- Set to Prorated if you only want points for the none points plan method of payment; i.e. cash, debit, Visa, etc.. If set to Always, the customer will receive points regardless of the method of payment;
- Save your changes;
- Repeat this step for each register.
This can also be done through the Back Office » POS » POS Settings function.
