Cannot run end of day
If you try to run the End of Day and you get a message similar to the following:
That means that there is a transaction which has been put on Hold and needs to be addressed before the End of Day can be run.
To do this:
- Go into the Sales/Refund transaction entry screen in Point of Sale on that register;
- Select Hold/Recall [F10];
- A list of transactions that have been put on hold will be displayed. You select a transaction, and then complete or void it. Repeating this step for each held transaction on the list until they are all dealt with;
- Once the Hold list is empty, you’ll be able to exit the transaction entry screen, and complete the End of Day function.
